Hello! I'm back for another update!

So, on Sunday, Sam and I were quite confused by the whole "mobile phones finishing daylight savings a week early" thing, especially since we left the hostel at 10 am and fished lunch at noon??? (We actually left at 11). But we figured it out in the end. We caught the train out to the zoo, and did all the usual zoo-y things. Saw a peacock in a tree. Took lots of photos.

Then we went back into town, and went to the IMAX theatre. But I'd gotten the times for the film wrong, so we were there 2 hours early. But it didn't matter, because we needed a rest. So, we saw some 3D movie about an African Safari.

After that, we went to Melbourne Central shopping centre, and finally managed to find the pointy thingy on the roof that we'd been searching for for days (ie in the bottom right here.) Turns out, inside is the historical shot tower that I've also been wanting to see for quite a while.

That was about it for Sunday.

Today, we went to the Museum, which was very fun. We saw Phar Lap, and some dinosaurs, and lots of other cool stuff. They may have real squids, but ours is bigger!

We also saw CSIRAC, which was the world's 4th computer, and Australia's first. It's also the only first generation computer left in the world.

Tomorrow, we're going to the Queen Victoria Markets, and maybe some other places. Then tomorrow night is Coheed and Cambria!

I went to the supermarket today, and I spent about 5 minutes walking around trying to remember why I went there. Then, I remembered I wanted cheese and Vegemite. So I found the cheese, right at the other end of the store. But I couldn't find the Vegemite. I looked down every aisle twice, and then I finally found it in the bakery section, which to me just seems idiotic. I understand that spreads go on bread, but I really expected to find it in the breakfast section, or somewhere near other stuff in jars....

And then, cos of other random things, I've just been feeling so confused all afternoon. It's very odd. I still confused, but I'm not really sure why. I think I need sleep...

On the plus side, I got my first NIH postcard today! I'm sure there was something else I wanted to write about.... Bloody Confundus Charm! When I found out who did it.... Actually, I hadn't thought that far ahead.

Oh yeah, I wanted to talk about pants! I needed to get new work pants. I didn't like the ones in Target. They were either pull on (ie no buttons/zips - too weird!), or they had weird belts attached, or they had built-in arse-crack. So, I went to Kmart. I found some that were okay there, but the size 12 were too tight, and the size 14 were too baggy. When are they gonna start making size 13?!?!? :P Anyway, eventually I found some, which are, according to the label, sportswear. o_O No wonder I'm confused!
