You're the worst audience we've ever seen!

The Chaser's Age Of Terror Variety Hour was awesome! (And I know I've been using that word far too much lately, but I have a limited vocabulary, so bugger off!) I'm gonna write down some of the stuff that happened, just so I don't forget, because I don't own a memory.

Spoilers be here )

My parents are home, and suddenly the fridge is full? It's been very sparse in there for the last two weeks. Couldn't leave me any food, could you?!?!? Probably best that they didn't anyway, cos I wouldn't have eaten it, and then it would have gotten weird and smelly, and I'd have to clean the fridge, and I don't do cleaning...

Anyway, they keep telling me about how much the places they went to have changed since last time we were there, but I was less than 10 years old when we went to these places, so other than recognising the names, and remembering some vague details ("Isn't Echuca the place with the paddlesteamers?" :P ), I don't know what they're on about. I don't remember how high the river was last time I was there!

But it's cool having them home. I can't have my music up as loud, or sing to it, but at least THERE ARE PEOPLE!!!

Also, mum brought me back a little Ned Kelly keyring! He's so kewt!

Haha, I just took photos, and there be no memory card in the camera! *fiddles* Ok, all fixed!

Re: Chaser Tickets
I got a call from Venuetix this morning, telling me I had tickets to a show that didn't exist (duh!), so we changed them to Thursday night. We're in the second row, but we're towards the middle, which is good, cos before we were at the edge. So, no more worrying, things is sorted!

In Other News...
My dad got home from Kangaroo Island late last night. For those who don't know, there have been major bushfires over there since last week, and my dad is a volunteer firefighter, so he went over there to help out last Friday. He may have to go back again later this week, because of the big scary change that is coming. It's kinda depressing hearing how badly organised everything is, but then again, it's hard to be properly prepared for big disastrous things.

Also, Shihad have a new song (One Will Hear The Other). I'm not sure what I think of it yet, it probably needs a few more listens.

Arrrghhh!!!

I'm so annoyed and confused! I was gonna write a lovely little entry about the adventure I had getting home today, but that's just not important any more.

I bought Chaser tickets today, for the first night, Tuesday, and I got the front row. But when I got home, I looked at the Venuetix website, and the only dates they have listed are Thursday, Friday, Saturday. So I rang them up, and apparently there was some sort of mistake and for the first few minutes of the tickets being on sale, they were selling them for Tuesday and Wednesday, which are the dates that are on hold if the other 3 days are really popular. And the lady said that they would call me if the shows aren't going ahead, but it will be too late by then to get decent tickets!!!!

I mean, I'm fairly hopeful that they will add more shows, but what if they don't?? So now I don't know what to do. Help please!

Pocket dance!

So I randomly got visited by [info]longlongwaytogo  and Grant last night, while I was eating tea! And they hung out for a while, and we laughed at my dog, and I showed them my new pocket dance, which I wasn't even aware I had until Nyree pointed it out to me!

And now I'm overwhelmed by the number of tickets that I need to buy for shows. Chaser tickets go on sale tomorrow, even though they're not coming here till May. And the tickets for Frank Woodley's new Fringe show are already on sale, but Nyree and I need to work out when we are going, cos he's doing about 20 shows. I'll be going to see Ross Noble too. At least, I'm assuming he's gonna be here, cos he always is. And the Fringe guide hasn't even been released yet! So there will probably be tonnes more shows I want to go to.

March is gonna be a very busy month! Soundwave is on the first, it's my mum and dad's birthdays, [info]samelthecamel  and I are going to see HIM in Melbourne, and the Fringe is on for the first half of the month. I think I really need to start saving some money, but it's a bit tricky with Christmas shopping that needs to be done.

Suggestions for titles gladly accepted

I'm back! Took me a week, but I finally got this Broadband thingy sorted. Turns out it wasn't the cords' fault, the stupid ISP had sent us the wrong password. But all is good now, and things happen so fast on broadband. I'm just sitting here marvelling at the pages appearing straight away, instead of a bit at a time! :D

So what have I been doing for the last week, while I've been deprived of netiness? Watching The Chaser's War On Everything. Yes, for the whole week! Actually, I did work a few of days, but other than that, all of my time has been spent on Chaser. I watched all the episodes from series 1, and the first half of series 2, AND all the commentaries. All up, over 32 hours! Yes, I am sad! And what do I do when I finally get back online? Catch up on the Chaser slash that I've missed, of course! Cos what I need right now is more Chaser in my life. :P  I am a little annoyed though, cos I'm sure I taped the APEC episode earlier this year, but I can't find the video. :(  I hope they release the next dvd soon!

Also, last night I dreamed that I had a pet monkey.

And I'll probably be back on NIH tomorrow, cos I think that may take a bit of time to catch up on!
